Hi, I’m Lauren Shane, a licensed esthetician and founder of Grounded Glow Studio. A Seattle native and proud graduate of the Euro Institute of Skin Care, I’ve built my practice around a deep respect for both the science and the soul of skincare. Before pursuing esthetics, I earned my degree in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology from Washington State University (Go Cougs!).

After college, I worked at Gene Juarez Salon & Spa, hiring estheticians, massage therapists, hair stylists, colorists, and nail technicians. During that time, I developed a deep admiration for the knowledge, passion, and artistry within the industry—a seed that stayed with me for years. As life evolved and my children grew more independent, I finally felt the space to pursue that long-held curiosity and step fully into the world of esthetics.

At Grounded Glow Studio, I combine results-driven skincare with restorative comfort, creating a space where clients can arrive exactly as they are and feel deeply cared for. My philosophy is rooted in skincare and soul care—working with the skin, not against it, and respecting its natural rhythms, barriers, and biology.

Each treatment is designed to deliver visible results within a serene environment that encourages stillness and renewal. My approach blends modern skin therapies with a mindful touch, emphasizing customization and thoughtful product selection, delivered with intention and care.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me reading, out with friends and family, walking around my neighborhood, meditating, or cheering at one of my kids’ sporting events. I’m endlessly curious about the evolving world of skincare—always studying, experimenting, and seeking ways to bring the most effective, holistic treatments to my clients.
